Absolutely Superb Antique Harlequin Set of Eight William 1V Mahogany Dining Chairs and dating from aorund 1830. All constructed from quality mahogany there are six matching dining chairs and a pair of Carver chairs that are a near match and making for a lovely set of eight.

The six dining chairs have a lovely carved and scrolled top rail above a carved central back splatt on shaped side supports above a drop in seat pad and standing on turned bulbous and tulip legs.

The two Carver Elbow Chairs have a shaped bar top rail carved and scrolled to the edge above a carved central back splatt and lovely carved and scrolled armrests on a shaped support with carved patera. It has a drop in seat pad and stands on turned bulbous and tulip legs.

All the seat pads are covered in a stripe fabric with needlepoint floral oval to the centre. The pale green fabric is the same on all of the chairs apart from the tone of colour on the two carvers and one dining chair which has a slightly darker tone in colour.

each chair measures: 36" high x seat height 17" x 21" deep x 17.5" wide

Each carver measures: 36" high x seat height 17" x 23" deep x 22" wide

in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
