A Burr Walnut Victorian Period Fold Over Card Table

Description

A Burr Walnut Victorian Period antique fold over card table. Having a shaped top of serpentine outline veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut and opening to reveal a baize lined playing surface. When turned, the top reveals a secret storage compartment for cards and gaming counters etc. The whole raised on a beautifully carved baluster central column with four carved cabriole supports with dolphin carved feet and inset brass castor's circa 1860

Dimensions: 40" wide x 20" deep x 28" high (40" deep fully opened)

Condition: This table has been beautifully restored
