A Stunning Quality Burr Walnut & Ormolu Mounted Occasional Table

Description

A stunning Burr walnut, Kingwood and ormolu mounted occasional table of exhibition quality. The circular top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut and having a tulip wood and Kingwood banded border and similarly inlaid frieze. The whole supported on three elegant Kingwood veneered cabriole supports united by a circular under tier, with beautiful ormolu mounts throughout, although un-marked the quality of this table suggests it was possibly made by Gillows of Lancaster or Holland & Sons circa 1880

Dimensions: 19" diameter x 28" high

Condition: This table has been beautifully restored
