Large Antique English Brass Bound Rosewood Jewellery Box C.1840

Description

A wonderful large and solid box, perfect for either a lady or gentleman in exotic & expensive Rosewood, brass bound in a military or campaign style.

The interior has been beautifully and professionally re-lined in navy blue, clean, freshly fitted and ready for use including a removable tray.

The top of the box has a top-notch flush cast brass handle fitted with a top quality screwed construction back-plate.

The box comes complete with a working (replacement) key which I have finished with a navy tassel to compliment the interior.

Superb condition, measuring 11 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".
