Antique Open Chair - Victorian - c1880

This pleasing open chair is crafted with a mahogany show frame and in good antique order throughout.

The chair rides upon quality turned legs to the front and benefits from original castors. The sweeping style of the design produces a visually interesting piece.

The chair is solid and will make a lovely hallway, study, lounge or bedroom piece.

The chair offers a seat height at 33cm (13") and is a comfortable place to rest.

The seat is covered with a quality textile which is presented in serviceable condition, pipe trimmed to the rear and edged with a matching brocade detail to the front. The piece is traditionally upholstered.
