Antique Satinwood Bookcase Display Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality Edwardian Sheraton revival marquetry inlaid display cabinet. This late 19th century regency design satinwood glazed pier display side hall narrow bookcase cabinet has some wonderful features with the more desirable glass sides and curved glazed glass panels. The central door has elegant tracery astragal glazing with inlay detailing. The central frieze has mahogany inlaid scroll detailing. The whole is raised on tapered legs with shaped angle brackets and the interior has been lined in a rich fabric. Circa 1900. In wonderful original condition. Measures 40”w x 53”h x 12”d.
