An Oak George III Period Lancashire Mule Chest

Description

An oak George III Period Lancashire mule chest, having a beautifully figured oak hinged top which lifts to reveal a large storage area. With an arrangement of three "dummy" drawers and five working oak lined drawers, the bottom right hand drawer being a double sized drawer. The drawer fronts all cross banded in mahogany and retaining the original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons, supported on shaped bracket feet. Having quarter reeded Corinthian columns and panelled ends circa 1790-1800

Dimensions: 69" wide x 22" deep x 37" high

Condition: This mule chest is in completely original condition, solid oak throughout, cleaned and waxed
