A quite magnificent and rare find, this stunning Coromandel sewing box has the finest Mother of Pearl and Abalone shell inlay I have come across. I have also never seen the inlay in this wonderful marine design featuring a plethora of sea shells, Coral and seaweeds .. simply stunning.

The interior too is a joy, with a fitted interior full of Mother of Pearl spools and sewing implements including carved winders.

A real gem in superb condition 12" x 8 1/2" x 4 3/8" tall. Complete with working key.
