Atropos Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The effect is very appealing and rather reminiscent of manor house and country vicarage drawing rooms of the period.

The cabinet was originally used for the protection and display of a butterfly collection but would be ideal for a multitude of other collectables, perhaps medals in particular.
The drawers would benefit from re-papering and this is a service that I am able to carry out to the very highest standard if so required.
