A really pretty antique English Jewelry or trinket box made from sterling silver clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1905, Edwardian in era. The makers initials are also present, HM for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

The shaped box stands on the most delightful four legs with ball and claw feet. The lid is what makes this example so very special, with a large embossed Iris on the top.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" tall.
