Description

A really attractive late Victorian sterling silver pill box, beautifully decorated with a foliate design surrounding a large vacant cartouche to the front.

The hinged lid fits perfectly and once opens reveals a lavishly gilded interior. There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1901. The makers initials J.G. are for the English silversmith, Joseph Gloster.

Excellent condition, measuring 1 5/8" x 1 1/4", weighing 0.84 Troy Ounces / 26.1 Grams.
