Rare Large Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Lace Salmon Fish Platter First Quality C1889-1922

Description

This is a very fine and beautiful example of a fish or salmon made by the world renowned premier Danish manufacturer Royal Copenhagen.

It came from an important castle estate sale in Scotland and was probably purchased from new.

This is the extremely popular Blue fluted pattern with the delicate blue floral motif on a white fluted background.

It has the model number of 1/363 and then the painters number of 2.

This particular platter is of first quality, the stamp of Royal Copenhagen dates it to between 1889 and 1922 after which the stamp changed.

It is of first quality with no scratch through the three lines to indicate it is a second.

There are no chips, cracks and no restoration has been undertaken.

It is extremely large and measures 20.75 inches by 9.25 inches it is also incredibly heavy.
