Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It came from an important castle estate sale in Scotland and was probably purchased from new.

It has the painters number of 46.
This particular jug is of first quality, the stamp of Danmark with the three lines dates it to between 1894 and 1900 after which the stamp changed.
It is of first quality with no scratch through the three lines to indicate it is a second.

There are no chips, cracks and no restoration has been undertaken.
It measures 6.5 inches high.
