Stunning Footed Powder Bowl - Floral Engraved Crystal - Sterling & Tortoiseshell Lid

Description

About as good as they get, this is a stunning early twentieth century Powder or dressing table jar made from crystal with panels around the side interspersed with the prettiest copper wheel engraved floral decoration.

The lid is made from English sterling silver hallmarked for London 1921. The makers marks are also present for Charles & Richard Comyns. The panel of period Tortoise shell is beautifully inlaid in silver pique.

Stunning in every way and in superb condition. Standing 4" tall with a lid diameter measuring 4 1/4" and the body of the bowl measuring approx. 4 7/8" in diameter (max).
