Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
It came from an important castle estate sale in Scotland and was probably purchased from new.
It has the model number of 1/387 and then the painters number of 53.
This particular jug is of first quality, the stamp of Royal Copenhagen with the three lines dates it to between 1889 and 1922 after which the stamp changed.
It is of first quality with no scratch through the three lines to indicate it is a second.
There are no chips, cracks and no restoration has been undertaken.
It measures 7 inches high.
