About as charming as they get, this a stunning desk-top inkwell or a delightful dog standing on his hind legs. The quality of the casting is superb and retaining the original gilding.

The hinged head is where the inkwell opens to reveal a removable glass liner to easily refill and clean. The dog retains it's original small amber glass eyes.

Victorian in era, c.1880. Superb condition, measuring 5 1/4" tall.
