Description

An unusual and highly decorative little salver or tray, made from silverplate, the quality is superb.

The wonderful shaped edge is beaded, followed by a delightful pierced or reticulated border, framing the plethora of engraved decoration to the base of the salver.

Sitting on three handsome claw and ball feet, the piece is unmarked and dates to the late Victorian era, around 1890. Wonderful condition and a smaller, very usable size, measuring just 8 1/2" in diameter.
