The watch case is of solid 18ct gold which just looks and feels incredible.
The fully automatic gold plated Gyromatic 39 jewels chronometer movement is regarded as one of the finest ever made during the golden age of Swiss watch making.
It is accurate to +/- 2 seconds per day and comes with its test certificate of servicing.
It has a very heavy solid 18ct gold screw down case which is in mint condition.
The unblemished dial is a two tone harlequin and is just glorious and has the quick set date facility, it has its original hands and winding crown with the GP logo on it.
A new glass has been fitted and the case professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
It comes complete with a new premium quality dark brown leather strap and a solid mahogany presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
This is an extremely rare and desireable watch much sought after by collectors.
Girard Perregaux are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 35mm including the crown.

The watch has just been fully overhauled and serviced by Simon Batcgelor MBHI. It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine Girard Perregaux in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under high magnification for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.
The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
