A quality set of six upholstered oak framed dining chairs presented in excellent condition.
Turned front legs are united by a barley twist front stretcher.
The rear support of the chairs rises with a further pairing of barley twists flanking a classic back with shaped back-splat. The top rail provides additional interest with a diamond pattern in relief. The chairs offer comfort and a very pleasing seating experience.
The wool-based textile of the seats is a in good serviceable condition, clean, and free of damage. The seats benefit from a 'drop-in' seat design and therefore would be easy to recover if desired.
With a 49cm (19.3") seat height these chairs make an ideal set for daily use.
The set are in excellent order throughout.
Overall a superbly stylish set of six antique chairs which will serve and perform excellently. Top quality and rarely available with the addition of the carvers.
