London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Solid oak frames, and fully sprung seating, combine with excellent build craftsmanship to deliver an exceptionally robust and comfortable set of dining chairs.

Turned front legs, complete with original castors, rise through an attractive taper to a carved block upper united by a bow front rail. The rear support of the chairs rises from the seat frame through wonderfully shaped backs complete with hand carving. The backs are slanted and curved to provide support and comfort offering a very pleasing seating experience.

The upholstery of the chairs is a faux leather trimmed with studs. The chairs are fully sprung and in fine order.
With a 48cm (18.9") seat height these chairs make an ideal set for daily use.
The set are in very good antique order throughout and are solid of joint. The textile of the seats is in good condition, clean, and free of damage.

Overall a superbly stylish set of eight antique chairs which will serve and perform excellently. Top quality and rarely available.
