This is a very fine example of a gents classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier swiss maker Baume and Mercier.This is an extremely rare model being oversize with the case measuring 36mm not including the crown and of course being rose gold.The movement is fully automatic, as you can see it is in fabulous condition.The original dial with centre seconds has been professionally restored, it retains its original gilt hands and baton markers/numbers. A new glass and cabuchon crown has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in exceptional condition.As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. It comes with a brand new high quality wooden presentation box.The heavy solid 18ct rose gold case is fully hallmarked with continental marks. It comes complete with a premium quality chestnut brown leather strap. If you prefer a black leather or extra long strap this can be fitted.Baume and Mercier are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn.The watch has been fully serived by Alan Williams FBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Baume and Mercier in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.The movement is then fully assembled using manufactureres approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping.
