Description

An Edwardian Sheraton Revival mahogany bureau bookcase with satinwood banding and ebony and box wood stringing to doors , fall , drawers , sides and cornice . The 2 doors with typical 13 pane astragals . The bureau fall with good quality inlay of swags , ribbons, rams heads and an urn in various stained woods and all with pen work . The interior consists of 10 drawers all with original brass knobs and 5 pigeon holes and replaced green leather writing surface. Below are 2 short and 3 long drawers with original brass swan neck handles . The base with off set moulding with ogee bracket feet . All the linings are solid oak . With keys .

Width..38''..96cm.

The bookcase offers a book run of 138''...2.5m. With 3 adjustable box wood strung shelves.
