Antique Victorian Mahogany Bow Front Inlaid Writing Table C1890

19th century
Description

Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Bow Front Writing or Side table and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a shaped and raised back rail above the bow front top with inlaid fine stringing to the edge and with two drawers both of which are oak lined with brass swan neck handles. To each end there is an inlaid fruitwood small panel in stylised Art Nouveau design and stands on squared and tapering legs with fine stringing.

Measures: 30" high x knee height 24" x 20" deep x 42" wide

A most attractive and elegant quality mahogany writing table in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
