Rare Hand Painted English Regency Jewelry Box C.1820

Description

What a sensational and vibrant colour, this beautiful Regency box has been at a specialist restorer to remove the old damaged polish without damaging the fabulous original painted finish, it has then been re-polished to protect this work of art for many years to come.

Either side is mounted with the original gilded brass ring handles and the box stands on four brass ball feet.

The interior has been professionally re-lined to create a very usable Jewellery box with ring holders to accommodate a total of around 10 rings, along with other compartments including a central pocket watch holder. The interior is clean and fresh and ready for you to use.

A stunning and rarely found box in a rare and beautiful colour. Excellent condition measuring 7 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep x 4 3/4" tall.
