Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
This Superb Walnut Chest of Drawers with two short drawers at the top and three longer graduated drawers beneath they have brass swan neck handles, matching brass escutcheons and it stands on a bracket footed plinth
The chest has the most superbly matched quarter veneers, the top s inlaid and cross banded, it is all in good condition, there is very minor chipping to the veneers, the chest is of very solid construction it has no creaks, woodworm and the drawers run very smoothly
The chest measures 41" high 39" wide and 20" deep
