Atropos Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The drawers all have superbly fitted glazed frames and are base lined with cork and have traditional papered sides and base. These cabinet drawers will lend themselves to a multitude of collecting pursuits and the extra depth and length is a great bonus. The glazed frames are fitted to perfection so there is no danger of ingress from pest or dust.
It is seldom one finds a pair of cabinets let alone such a versatile and attractive pair. I have taken a large number of photographs and am happy to send these to any interested potential buyers. These cabinets are not only practical but very pleasing pieces of furniture.
As stated each cabinet has 18 drawers set in two columns. The graduations by depth are as follows.
