Antique English Walnut Inkstand - Octagonal Cut Crystal Inkwells C.1890

Description

A wonderful and charming late Victorian desk-top inkstand dating to around 1890.

The oval base and carrying handle are made from solid Walnut, with it's beautiful nutty colouring. The inkwells are held in place by four Walnut pegs, I have marked the inkwells L and R as they only fit one way .. I will ship as is, so that the new owner knows how they fit properly.

The inkwells are miraculously pristine, these examples with their angular edges are prone to damage, these are just beautiful, hinged with brass collars.

Superb condition, measuring 7" x 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" tall to top of handle.
