Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Originally candlesticks with the wonderful behive and Queen of Diamonds design, they have now been converted into a table lamps by a fully qualified electrician and are ready for immediate use. They also have brand new shades in a pleated cream colour which comes with the lamps.
They are in excellent condition with the brightness of the solid brass yet retaining the patina which you would expect of genuine Victorian pieces.
They measure 19 inches in height including the shade, 14 inches without the shade and the base is 4 inches square.
This is a beautiful genuine pair of lamps and not to be confused with reproductions.
