Description

A very handsome and pristine Victorian egg cruet for four by the top-notch silversmith, Walker & Hall. The spoons to these egg cruets never match ... but this set does have the four spoons each with the Walker and Hall mark, so an exceptional set.

The stand sits on four bun feet with an integral handle and four ball supports to aid in keeping the spoons in place.

The four egg cups are a good solid weight held in place on the stand with individual pins; the interior of each cup lavishly gilded.

Dating to around 1890, the set remains in superb condition. The stand measures 7" x 5 1/4" x 5" tall to top of handle; each egg cup stands 2 5/8" tall.
