The watch is the calibre 30T2 SC 16 jewels manual wind movement which is regarded as the finest manual wind movement ever made by Omega and was issued to the allied forces during the occupation of Germany, as you can see it is in fabulous condition.

The original two tone dial is in superb condition, it has not been refinished. The luminous hands including the peacock blue central sweep-second hand are also totally original as is the crown which does not have the Omega logo on it which is absolutely right, any you see with the logo on it is a replacment. A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in exceptional condition.

As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. It comes with a brand new high quality wooden presentation box.
The heavy solid stainless steel screw in case is fully marked Omega 2384-4, the serial number 10477753 dates it to 1944.

It comes complete with a new premium quality black leather strap and a new presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 35mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors, indeed this is the best watch of this model and era we have had in the past 20 years.
The watch has been fully serived by Alan Williams FBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufactureres approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
