Description

A highly decorative little desk-top postage scale, in beautifully re-polished brass (rose coloured) with a full set of brass weights sitting in the circular cradle.

What makes this one rather special is the delightful pans, decorated with a central floral Pietra Dura panels. The balance is signed, engraved for E. Sclater & Son / 100 & 101 Snargate St. Dover (on England's Kent coast).

Absolutely lovely condition, measuring 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" and standing 2 1/2" tall.
