English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1918

Description

A very handsome photo frame standing on a solid Oak folding easel stand, also with an Oak backing.

The sterling silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1918, nearly 100 years old , the makers initials are also present, HM for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

The sterling silver frame has a most attractive beaded decoration. The glazed aperture measures 5 3/4" x 3 7/8", with the entire piece measuring 6 1/2" x 4 3/4". Excellent condition.
