A Large Victorian Gilt and Painted Wall Mirror

19th century
Description

A magnificent Victorian painted and gilded wall mirror, having a shell, bow and scrolled cresting to the arched top. The mirror framed to the top with sharpe and intricate acanthus leaves. Flanked by 2 fluted pillars with acanthus leaves to the base terminating in scrolls. Wonderful bright colour to the gilding, the paint work bone and olive green in colour. Retaining the original panelled back.

Dimensions: Height: 88 Inches (225cm), Width: 64 Inches (162.5cm), These measurements are taken from the maximum points.
