An Antique Cantonese Hand Painted Fan

1900 - 1920
Description

A hand painted Cantonese fan, circa 1920, the feather leaves centrally painted with figures beneath a tree and with peacock feather tips, the pierced wooden sticks and end guards hung with a tassel, contained in a period retailers box for Jordan Marsh Company (Jordan Marsh were a major retailers in Boston and other US cities, the last store was taken over by Macy's in 1996).
