A beautiful biscuit box or barrell made from a beautiful deep cut crystal without damage, with the underside having a star cut.

The fittings and swing handle are made from English silverplate with a mark for the well renowned English silversmith, James Dixon & Sons.

Dating to around 1900, late Victorian in era, it remains in superb condition ready for use. The rim diameter measures 4 1/4", standing 5 1/4" to top of barrel or 8" to top of handle.
