A fine mahogany English George ll circular table presented in good condition.
The superbly presented upper surface is edged with a triple rails of morse-code relief beading. The table presents a gorgeous hand carved frieze.
Quarter carved blocks lead to cluster turned legs with stepped ring detailing. These are united by an X-stretcher with central platform displaying carved cartouche. The whole rides over extravagant carved feet with superb hand craftsmanship.
The mahogany displays very well and the whole piece is in very good order and solid throughout. A beautifully balanced table with versatility and style.
