A Rare Edwardian Silver Travelling Shaving Brush. Chester Assay Office.

A rare opportunity to acquire an Edwardian silver travelling shaving brush, assayed at the sought after Chester Office. This fine example comes in three parts, which assemble to make a practical shaving brush with badger bristle.

For the purpose of travelling, it unscrews and fits inside the main body (photo 5). To the front is an unusual crest featuring a snake and five arrows. A wonderful gift idea or collector's piece.

Condition :- Very good with no splits to the silver and no loss to the bristle. The case has a couple of very minor ripples, commensurate with age and use.
