Rising from original brass castors, through tapered square section legs with feature stretcher, into the main body featuring fine inlays and stringing across the piece.
The upper presents a fall front over a full width desk drawer. An original leather skiver which is both embossed and gilded provides a pleasing work area. The 73cm (28.7") working height of the desk area makes the piece perfect for regular use.
Within the quality fitted interior there are a pair of drawers, cubbies and letter slots and a central main space with cabinet door.
Above the main section resides a pair of further drawers and a top section with classic rear up-stand.
Overall a very desirable example in good order.
