Description

These Victorian toast racks are as popular today on the desk-top as they are on the breakfast table. Some are particularly suited to this use like these solid English Oak and silver plated ones, scarcer to find as each day goes by.

The solid Oak base stands on it's original four silver plated feet. The makers mark can be found on the side for the silversmith THOMAS HARWOOD & SONS of Birmingham, this mark being used between 1864 to 1896.

In excellent condition. The piece is a good size, perfect for today's larger mail or a good slice of warm toast! Measures 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 7" tall.
