Description

A stunning quality rosewood Late Victorian games table by Gillows of Lancaster. Having a demi lune rosewood top with a beautiful ivory and satinwood inlaid border, which opens to reveal a green baize playing surface, showing the typical Gillows engraved hinges. Having a ivory inlaid frieze with a central carved capitol, the whole supported on four square tapering rosewood legs with acanthus carved detail and brass socket castor's, with the Gillows pattern number stamped to the underside circa 1880-1890

Dimensions: 36" wide x 18" deep x 30" high

Condition: This table is in beautiful restored condition, re-lined baize
