Outstanding Omega solid 9ct gold gents wristwatch c1948-49.
The watch is the calibre 30T2 PC 15 jewels manual wind movement which is regarded as the finest manual wind movement ever made by Omega and the same as used by the Battle of Britain RAF pilots, as you can see it is in fabulous condition.
The original dial with the sub seconds dial is in mint unmarked condition, it has gilt hands and numbers. It also the Omega symbol on the original crown. A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in exceptional condition.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. It comes with a brand new high quality wooden presentation box.
The heavy solid 9ct gold case is fully hallmarked and it has solid gold strap bars, the serial number 11194322 dates it to 1948-49.
It comes complete with a new premium quality chestnut brown leather strap and a new presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition. If you prefer a black leather or extra long strap this can be fitted.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown and it comes with its service printout.
Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn.
The watch has been fully serived by Simon Batchelor MBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufactureres approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
