Description

A wonderful pair of small late Victorian or Edwardian serving forks, always useful to serve a plethora of things and a welcome addition to any dining table.

Most unusual, this pair of forks each has a Scottish thistle terminal finishing off the Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell handles with it's wonderful iridescent qualities.

The forks are beautifully engraved to the front and marked on the back with the maker's initials A & D S for the silversmith, CHARLES JAMES ALLEN ALLEN & DARWIN of London & Sheffield.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" in length.
