William lV Period Dining Chairs - Reeded Leg - c1835
With classic William lV styling this mahogany set offers 'drop-in' seat convenience and comfort. The seats of the set are presently covered with a fawn velour textile which is in serviceable condition. The nature of the seat design means that it would be very simple to re-cover the chairs if desired.
A wide top rail offers strength and comfort. The centre back rail provides great interest with desirable tulip & feather detail.
The front rail has moulded detail and leads through the block corner into the lovely reeded legs with triple turning and taper foot.
With a 45cm (17.7") seat height these chairs would make an ideal set for regular use. They are robust and strong of frame throughout.
