The silver is beautiful quality in a fluted design with an oval vacant cartouche to the top.
The silver is hallmarked in the left hand corner for London 1899. The makers marks WC are also present for the top-notch silversmith, William Comyns. The frame measures 7 1/2" wide x 5 1/4" tall with a glazed aperture measuring 4 3/4" x 3 1/4".
