Pair of Heavy Victorian Brass Candlesticks

19th century
Description

Measuring 25cm in height these candlesticks are very well made and beautifully detailed.

They have large oak leaves decorating the base with three hoof feet on each, and a serpent twisting around the stems of the sticks.

Each candlestick weighs 680 grams so they are solid and quite unusual. There is no damage on either.

Declaration

Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
