Victorian Pan and Mercury Spelter Figures

19th century
Description

A pair of Victorian spelter figures, one of Pan and the other of Mercury, both on their original bases.

They are approximately 24" (61cm) in total, the base is 7" (18cm) and then a face of the Wind holds each figure upright by the foot.

There is sign of an old repair to Mercury around the waistline, but it doesn't detract and it reflects in our price.

Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
