Description

A stunning pair of French made binoculars or field glasses dating to around 1900. Made from polished brass, they have been meticulously re-polished to gleam, which looks stunning paired with the dark coloured leather.

They focus wonderfully and come with brass sun shades which pull out to reduce glare in bright light and sunshine. The eyepieces are signed Societe des Lunetieres.

They come complete with a brown leather carrying case, a little tired but could be polished up if desired, the case has done a wonderful job in protecting the precious contents for the last 110 years.

Excellent condition measuring 4 1/2" wide x 4 1/4" tall extending to 5 3/4" while fully extended and the sun shades pulled out. The case measures 5" tall x 5 3/8" wide.
