A fine pair of English Hepplewhite chairs in mahogany dating from c1780.
With classic shape and proportion this pair present stunningly.
The attention to detail within the back-rest of the chairs discloses the quality of the craftsman. Exquisite design incorporating wonderful raised mouldings give way to the magnificent central carving display of the Prince of Wales Feathers.
Rising from spade feet with elegant taper to the leg into an overstuffed seat the chairs offer comfortable seating. With a seat height of 45cm (17.7") and excellent construction they are suitable for regular use.
