Regency Period Dining Chairs - Sabre Leg - c1830
With classic Regency styling this mahogany set offers 'drop-in' seat convenience and comfort. The set have been recently recovered with a quality textile displaying light pastel shades. The nature of the seat design means that it would be very simple to re-cover the chairs if desired.
The centre back rail provides interest with triple reeded detail and the top rail is well formed and benefits from stepped end-capping.
With a 46cm (18.1") seat height these chairs would make an ideal set for regular use. They are robust and strong throughout and offer a pleasing seating experience.
The set are in very good antique order throughout and are solid of joint.
Overall a great opportunity to enjoy a good set of English Regency period chairs which will serve and perform excellently whilst looking gorgeous.
