Description

A small proportioned Northamptonshire longcase clock. Choice flame mahogany veneers with inlays to the case. A swan-neck hood pediment with brass patterae and central finial. An attractive painted dial with fruit and floral corners. A date aperture and seconds dial. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell.

T Henson of Kings Cliffe is recorded in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working 1847-1864.
